About Me
My background before being a therapist is in healthcare and non-profits. After seeing the impact of mental health on a systemic level, I knew working with individuals, couples, and families needed to be my core focus. Since then, I’ve practiced psychotherapy for over 8 years. My priority is helping clients create meaningful lives and relationships. I specialize in working with trauma, sexuality and sex, professional burnout, and attachment.
Many of my clients feel lost or hopeless when first reaching out. If you are like this, perhaps you’ve spent much of your life hiding your true self—shaping who you are to fit what you think others want, leaving you feeling isolated. In truth, the key to breaking free from this pattern is reconnecting with the full range of your emotions—your sadness, anger, joy, excitement, and everything in between. By embracing and expressing these feelings, you can rediscover who you truly are, find deeper connection, and create a life that feels authentic and meaningful.
Most clients find they feel more confident in themselves and their relationships. They have a better grasp of how they want to engage in the world, relinquishing suffering like anxiety, depression, and obsession.
I hold a B.S. Honors in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan and a M.S.S.W from the University of Texas at Austin.
After living in Austin, Texas for almost a decade, I decided to move out to the Bay area in 2023. Since moving here, I have found a love for the natural beauty and culture of the area. I enjoy playing pickleball, going to movies, and swimming.
In addition to working with psychodynamic and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I am certified in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma reprocessing.
My in-person office is located in San Francisco in the iconic Flood Building (870 Market St) steps away from the Powell Center transit station, near South of Market (SoMA) and the Financial District
