FAQs
Where do sessions take place?
I offer in-person sessions in my office in San Francisco and virtual sessions for residents of California, Texas, Colorado, and Illinois using a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.
In-person sessions are conducted in my office at:
870 Market St
San Francisco, CA 94102
Paid parking is typically available across the street at:
123 O’Farrell St
San Francisco, CA 94102
Do you take insurance?
I am out-of-network with all insurance providers. Some insurance companies including BCBS, Aetna, United, and others have reimbursed my clients when submitting for out-of-network reimbursement for individual and group therapy.
Please note the reimbursement process is up to your insurance plan and I am unable to provide any information on potential reimbursements, but you can click here to find out more about reimbursement.
It is not typical for couples/relationship therapy to be covered by insurance for several reasons. Most people seeking relationship therapy intend to improve communication, conflict, infidelity, life transitions, etc., and these cannot be treated or billed to insurance as mental illness. There are additional reasons for not using insurance in these cases. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about this.
What are your fees?
I view psychotherapy as an important investment for long-lasting change in your life.
Individual therapy: $200/session
Couples/Relationship therapy: $230/session
Group: $70/session
Sometimes, I am able to offer reduced fees based on financial need. So please reach out to discuss this if my fees are outside of your ability to pay.
